Blessed first morning of December, Dear Friend.

As the month begins, I’ll be doing two simple things daily leading up to the celebration of our Savior’s birth. I’d love to have you join me!

Beginning today, I am reading one chapter per day from the book of Luke, culminating on Christmas Eve. It is my sincere prayer that by Christmas Day, I’ll have an even deeper understanding, appreciation and love for Jesus Christ and why He came.

I will also be keeping a journal of gratitude, tucked within the pages of my Bible to reflect back upon blessings recorded during this chapter of my life. Utilizing Ann Voskamp’s 1000 Gifts list, I’m pausing to recognize three gifts each day God has faithfully provided me.

I so hope you join me in either (or both!) of these activities, Friend.

Regardless of if our days are flowing with happiness or hardship, we have great hope in believing our God walks with us. Focusing on His Word and Gifts will bring both greater joy and lasting peace this Christmas season. Merry Christmas.
